France - REQUEST: apt in Paris in April

Together with out friends we are travelling to Paris, France in April of 2012. We've heard that the cheapest way to stay there is to rent an apartment. We are two families with nine people, four adults and five children.

Where do people here look for apartments in Paris? We would like to stay as close to the downtown as possible for reasonable price.

I would also look at vrbo.com. That might be the first step and then go to specific websites if not find what you are looking for.

I've rented through www.clickappart.com and so far have been happy with the apartment and booking terms & conditions. :)
