Here's a link to the latest tragedy averted on AI Express:

The number of such incidents prompts me to rather reach my destination by foot than taking a flight on AI Express...
Any thoughts...

These pilots should be fired.
Aborting take-off after V1 is not a mistake that can be forgiven....

there is not a day that goes by without some negative comment regarding ai....a lot of it is unwarranted but then there are some situations which make you think 'what in the blue hell is wrong with these people????'....

I couldn't agree more... especially when I hear my father speak of the glory days of AI, when prior to the concorde (even after GOI take over from TATA) - AI 101/102 was the most premium flight in the world - LHR-JFK-LHR. Lounge in first class on the upper deck of the small 747 (jumbo back then). Kebab platters, silver service on everything - they made the likes of Pan Am look like amatuers.
Honestly even today when you fly AI F - some of that glory day history can be felt with the CC on board. It's a shame what has become of the airline though.
Also given how 9W is going - I hope we won't be telling our kids the same stories of the once upon a time of Jet Airways...

Any recent trips on AI F to refer to?
