Hi all!

I've flown the city hoppers in Europe but I finally get to fly TATL in business. I've always enjoyed the service on KLM. Heck this will be the first trip where I got out of AMS airport (which I do enjoy due to the KLM Lounge and its free flowing bubbly)and get to see the city. I'm pretty excited.

I have read the KLM page but am wondering what to expect. It appears the seats are not lie-flat but I can handle that for eight hours (I usually fly TPACs)

Any advice and/or info is much appreciated. I will, of course, be reading this forum.

Cheers!

I've only flown long-haul business class on KLM twice but I found the service extremely pleasant without being at all in my face. Professional and attentive. I sleep on my side and prefer a more "cradled" position, so lack of lie-flats does not bother me. You of course get the Delft house, a nice touch. And Schiphol is an easy, relatively efficient airport .

Yes, I like KLM--even in Y!

(I came here looking for info about lounges, but couldn't help but answer your post. Have a good journey.)

The seats are indeed not lie flat but I find them comfortable enough though they are easier to sleep in when not down as far as they go. IFE is decent and I usually find service to be very friendly....food is a bit hit n miss but that's the case on all airlines i go on. Have a great flight!
