Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles - Star Gold + guest in TK lounge?

Hello all,

Will be transitting through IST on route to my holidays with my wife and want to check if I can take a guest into the TK lounge if Star Gold card holder and flying in eco. I know going into the lounge is no problem if on my own when eco, but want to check if I can take a guest as not sure if lounge belongs to TK or they simply use it

Hopefully one of you knowledgable travellers can help me out

As a *G you are entitled to bring 1 guest with you assuming both of you are traveling on a same day *A flight. You should be fine.

This lounge has automated gates that need you to swipe your boarding pass for entry, so if you want to take a guest you will need to go to the counter first and they will open the gate for the second person.

Not a problem and I have taken a guest into this lounge many times (and on one occasion two.. :-)

If you like to take a shower,make sure to go straight to the concierge.
