I am flying AMS - CPT roundtrip next week and was wondering what to expect for meal service in EC? I assume lunch and dinner will be served on the AMS - CPT flight, but with the 12:20 AM departure for the CPT - AMS flight, what meals will be served?

Also, what would I lose in service if I were to change my seating from EC to an open row of 3 further back in coach (except risking the other seats in the row may sell)?

EC is exactly the same service as normal Y. Same free meals, drinks and booze. Only benefit is more legroom and recline.

I assume lunch and dinner will be served on the AMS - CPT flightI haven't flown KL longhaul for years, but in J class they used to serve a full three-course lunch, and then a light supper. I cannot imagine that has change. I would therefore not expect much for "dinner" in Y class.
