Hi all,
What are the better rows to be in for economy on the A320. Is there a bulkhead or exit isle?
I'm suprised no one has a guide on the best seats on this plane - I've only found the 767 and A340 seatmaps on seat expert or seat guru.
Regards,
Mark

LAN has a one-cabin configuration on their domestic 320s. Seat pitch is probably ~29". I remember having barely enough room for my knees. All the seats seem the same, so I would just recommend toward the front.

Weird, no emergency exit row extra-space? or are they reserved for LanPass fliers?

OK I had an exit row on an A320 on one of my flights over Chirstmas.
Having just checked my boarding passes, I think it must have been my PMC PUQ segment. I didn't book it but when I boarded the aeroplane in PMC my seat was covered in jam.
I was booked into 11A and went into the row behind so row 12 is an exit row, my seat didn't recline so let's presume that 13 is also an exit row with reclining seats as having 2 exit rows would be logical on a single class A320.
That's my calculated guess.

Did these have the traditional extra leg room?

Me? Yes
Depending on what "traditional" extra leg room is
Row 1 has normal space on all-Y config, also emergency seats in row 12 have plentiful space.

Thanks. I have several flights coming up where that information will come in handy

Aren't all (or almost all) the planes configured for possible Premium Economy service, so that Rows 1-3 have a bit more room (and the convertible middle seats)?

Yes and no. I flew old A320s in Chile which were in Y config but were configurable for premium economy (regular dark blue seats)
I also flew in some brand new A320s which were all in Y and not configurable for premium economy (new lighter blue weight-saver seats with a seat back "pocket" at eye level)ç
Edit to answer the question: Whilst the dark blue seats rows 1-3 have a tad more legroom, the new seats don't
Edit again: PUQ to PMC with OLCI I was able to bag row 1 which was in the old config and did have a bit more legroom
