Club Carlson - Question about Weekend Extend

If I want to have a 3 night weekend stay at a Radisson, is there anything to stop me booking 2 nights for 1 at the Weekend Extend rate and then doing a separate reservation to add on an extra night at regular rate ?
This will mean 2 consecutive reservations but will it be easy to get those merged at check in or does any reservation involving the weekend extend rate have to be strictly for 2 or 4 nights ?
Any advice or experience with this would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't believe so. In fact, it would be better for the hotel than you booking 4 for 2 and only staying 3 as they'll be able to re-sell the room. I'd go for whichever option gives the best rate. If you really want to be sure, just call the hotel and ask.

Hi,
you should be able to just book the whole stay through the club carlson website: http://www.clubcarlson.com/offers/1843985
There is also a link to the 2 for 1 deal.
The booking should automatically take the offer into account.
If you have any problems, the hotel may be able to reserve it for you instead.
Hope this helps.

There is nothing to stop you from doing that. You may have to have your key card renewed when they switch between reservations.
