Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns - Exit row or Stretch seating better for leg room?

I have a classic plus fare booked and wondered which seats have more leg room? i have been told conflicting information from two different customer service reps. My husband is 6'8'' , so he could use all the space possible. We have segments on E90 jets and Airbus 318. Just want to make sure since we are spending the $$ for the seating, we get the best possible. Thanks so much!

I find the Stretch seats more comfortable when traveling with family, because you can raise the arm rest. You can't do that in an exit row. Any person 6'8" tall with average girth will be comfortable in either location. So, then it just boils down to whether you want to sit up front, or back towards the middle of the plane.

Welcome to the Frontier forum bjeang!
Legroom is about equal in STRETCH and Exit Row on the 2x2 E90s and Airbus. If you get on a 2x1 E90, the legroom is a tad less but the seats are wider up front. Plus the benefit up front with getting off the plane first.

From my perspective the leg room is very similar in exit and in stretch. I'd still choose stretch over exit if I have the option for two reasons. First on the e190 There's a good chance you'll be on a plane where stretch is wide 1x2 seating. Choose an A seat if you want to sit alone or choose D & F if you are traveling together. The other reason I like it up front is the small set of benefits like deplaning first, FA more likely to give you a full can of soda or comp you something, less chance they run out of a food item you want to purchase, etc.
One other thing on the E190. Being only 2x2 the bins are smaller, with big rollerbags only fitting crossways. If you get a plane with the 1x2 stretch section, the bins over the two-side up in stretch are about as big as the Airbus. (The bins over the one-side in stretch are big enough for coats and purses.). So if a big bin is important on the E190 you may get one in stretch.

Thanks!
I would opt for the Stretch seats. I don't think there is a bad Stretch seat, whether the aircraft is configured 2x2 or 2x1.
I've always found plenty of legroom.

Recently flew FLL - DEN - FLL, both legs on A320 aircraft. Row 1, even though considered Stretch Seating, had significantly less leg room than Row 11 (exit row). My experience on the F9 A318s and A319s have been similar.

Thanks for the report! I tend to avoid row 1 specifically because there is no underseat storage and the legroom ends sooner.

The only major advantage of row 1 is that on the right side of the aircraft, there is a standard electrical plug you can use to recharge your computer. :)

Really? That's nifty. Learn something new every day. Thanks!

You are welcome. Just remember, the plug is only available on the right side... I checked and didn't see one on the left side.
