Hong Kong and Macau - Best hotel pool for relaxing (HK or Macau)?

Am looking at a City Break but would like the option to chill round the pool.

I've seen threads on the best places for swimming laps, but not really for relaxing.

Preferably HK, but Macau is possible too.

It's likely to be late May, so an outdoors pool, but also one that might catch some sun for a reasonable part of the day (preferably afternoon I guess).

Thanks

For a pool scene, the W is good. However, if by relaxing, you mean more of a family feeling than a competitive party scene for the beautiful people, the W is not the place for you.

Maybe the LM that's away from the city? Or someplace near Happy Valley?

There's a large public pool complex in the park in Kowloon. On nice days, it seems to be fairly crowded with local families.

Hi,

I liked the pool at the Wynn in Macau for relaxing around ( quite large) and Macau is well worth a visit if you are staying in Hong Kong for more than a few days.

My hotel pool ( the Conrad) is ok also but maybe a bit on the small side for a fully relaxing atmosphere.

Does the pool at the Conrad get any sun (assuming the sun ca fight its way out from behind the clouds/smog...)

Hi,

I think that the pool did get some sun but not for all day due to the high buildings all around the hotel area.

The YMCA in Kowloon next to the Peninsula has an Olympic sized
pool. 2nd story full glass panoramic view of HK island.

Jacuzzi also.

The pool at the Four Seasons Macau is probably the most relaxing. Several pools, very quiet, nice surrounds and private. Wynn is good, but is not that private.

The Conrad pool got about 5 hours or so of sun (November visit) from what I recall last year. The whirlpool/jacuzzi are tucked around a corner so relatively secluded.

Visited their website and it's indoor pool, right? How was water temp - cool enough to swim laps or heated?
