Sorry for the list of questions, but I have never flown TK nor visited IST.

I will be arriving in IST on a TK flight from Munich, and need to connect to another TK flight to Bodrum, Turkey. For a series of complex reasons, my MUC-IST ticket (already booked) will be separate from my IST-BJV ticket (which I still need to book). I may or may not need to check baggage. The questions I face are:

1. What IST-BJV flight should I book? My flight from MUC is scheduled to arrive at 1405. The next flight to BJV leaves at 1520, the one after that is at 1710. I understand the I/D MCT at IST is 1:15, and I see that TK will book a combined MUC-IST-BJV ticket for the 1520 flight, but is it too tight for me given that I have separate tickets?

2. Will checking baggage delay me? Or is the wait at Immigration such that bags are already available in the claim area by the time you are done with Immigration? Is a baggage re-check counter available just after clearing customs?

3. Will TK be willing to issue me my IST-BJV boarding pass at MUC (even though it is on a separate ticket)? Or will I have to wait until I reach IST to check in for my BJV flight?

Thanks much. You guys are wizards!

1. Welcome to FT!
2. 75 minutes connection time in IST is doable, but I would not use it, especially on 2 sepparate tickets. Get the 17:10 flight, 2 hours in the airport will also give you some breathing time.
3. when you chek-in in MUC just show them the other itinerary, they will check your luggage all the way to Bodrum, no problem whatsoever. Don't forget though 4. They might not issue your IST-BJV boarding pass in MUC, but there is nothing stopping you to check-in online :)
