LAN LANPASS - Not LANPass but OLCI question

I have just checked in for a flight on Saturday, BOG-LIM-SCL. I selected my seats, but I am not sure what I have done. There were seats with red lines through, there were blank seats and there were blue seats, I wanted a window so selected the seats I fancied, they happened to be blue. I emailed my BP to myself (just got to talk nicely to Holiday Inn in BOG to print them for me) and notice the seat number on the boarding pass has what looks like a $ sign next to it. Have I somehow managed to select seats that I now have to pay more for?
Sorry if this is a school boy question, but the legend next to the seat map didn't explain anything, nor did I get any pop-ups warning of any impending spend!
Thanks!

I have never seen a seat with a $ next to it.
On this occasion your BAEC Bronze card is your friend. Get to the airport nice and early. Go to Premium Business check in and they will no doubt offer you one of the seats with a red line through it. If they don't offer then ask for it. That's what they are there for, OW FF's like you.
As you know now checking in for LAN at El Dorado is about as organised as a loosely tossed salad. The international check in desks are a bit buried betwixt the national check in desks and they tend to rope off the Premium check in.
Let yourself through, if there is a security guard that asks to see your ticket or BAEC card, just tell him to shut up and walk past him
Colombian + Security guard's uniform = Complete %/&$&%&

I got the matter sorted, although I never got an answer. I had to call LAN as I had changed a flight from Manizales-BOG to Medellin-BOG, although they had updated the information, they had not issued the ticket so I could not check in. Spoke to the UK line as it was 4am in Medellin and they knew nothing of such a symbol, in fact the guy I spoke to was a true star and sent me an email so that I could reply with a copy of said boarding pass, he had never seen it either, in fact his records showed my original allocation.
I got an email from him an hour or so later to say that there would be no problem and I had been moved to the seat I selected for no charge, so I guess it might have been a paid seat.
Can't find seat plans for this flight, is row 7 on BOG-LIM & LIM-SCL anything special?
As for BOG and checking in I completely forgot about the Bronze benefits, thanks for the reminder!

BOG LIM
Not particularly special no. Row 4 is the first row of Economy. Row 7 I normally notice that seat B is blocked out. So if you are in 7A or 7C and they don't give 7B to anyone at check in, then you won't have to sit next to anyone.
Row 8 is my favourite row, 8A is the only one that can be chosen in OLCI and if they don't give 8B or 8C to anyone at check in then you have a LAN sideways flatbed.
Since LAN changed their timetable last year to less silly hours, the loads seem to have gone up and row 8 gets filled up.
I don't know where the exit rows are on an A319
LIM SCL,
I don't know
