Hawaii - Mauna Loa heli tour Kauai - #1 on tripadvisor?, no mention in guidebook

So I am looking at doing a helicopter tour on Kauai (first time). I noticed Mauna Loa tours are the highest rated on Tripadvisor, but there is zero mention in the Kauai Revealed guidebook (even though they mention like 8 others)

Any thoughts on why they would have been left out of KR? Brand new company , bad safety, etc or has anyone flown them?

It seems that they're more of a flight school/charter operation than a flightseeing company. They don't seem to actively court the tourist crowd.

There's a local who regularly posts on TripAdvisor, an ex-fighter pilot, who has taken the flying lessons and recommends them (and Jack Harter). They seem pretty solid, and offer open-door.

Every time I go to Hawaii the newspaper has a gruesome picture of a helicopter wreckage on the front page. Maybe it's just the times I visit...or maybe it's a sign I should never get in a helicopter.
