I WILL CHECK IT OUT TONIGHT!

Dear Dr Down_the_back,

We are pleased to inform you that our newly renovated Falcon Gold Lounge at Bahrain International Airport has now re-opened. Whether you're travelling Falcon Gold, a Silver or a Gold Falconflyer member, you are invited to re-enjoy our service at the revamped lounge in Bahrain.

This reflects Gulf Air's brand values to offer true Arabian hospitality to our premium guests, and strengthen our position as the premium national carrier of Bahrain at our main hub.

Our lounge offers a place of serenity to escape from the crowds of the busy departure area. Guests will be able to catch up on work or stay in touch with the office by using our Business Centre facilities and free Wi-Fi service. And to keep our guests updated with the latest news, we offer a various choice of international and local newspapers and magazines.

We also provide an excellent choice of complimentary food and drinks, including a range of international dishes and snacks from our newly designed buffet. Our Sky Chef will assist those customers who wish to dine before their flight so they can maximize their sleep on board, and for those who wish to freshen up before their flight there are shower suites available (including a disabled restroom/ shower suite).

In our family lounge the Sky Nanny will be happy to entertain the children whilst mum and dad take a well-deserved break. A selection of children's toys for all ages and an X-Box area with the latest games will keep them occupied during their stay.

Soon you will be able to enjoy the Lavazza Café where you will be able to help yourself to the finest Italian coffee, or an assortment of flavored teas, as well as our newly renovated quiet lounge designed with seven sleeping units with individual on demand TV channels, and a private smoking lounge.

We look forward to welcoming you to experience our longlasting genuine Arabian hospitality.

Yours sincerely,

Cedar Jet

I was in Bahrain a week ago and just missed it! Had to use CX lounge which was nothing short of yuk. Better than the masses in departure areas however ;)

It is much lighter, by removing the wall they have created a larger space. Better food selection and a larger counter area with wider selection. I hear that they are also creating a smoking area - which for me is fantastic! The layout is almost the same as before, they seem to have used the same furniture but reupholstered again, lighter colours. The bathrooms have also had an overhaul.
Well done GF!
