Anyone have experience navigating the family registration process? First I tried to go through the steps online only to call a week later and hear that they "never received my documents". I tried emailing them all required information today and got the following response:

We regret that we are unable to further process your application as

1. We have not received your supporting documents verifying your family relationship

2. Your copies of supporting documents are illegible.

3. Your supporting documents cannot be used as verification of your family relationship.

4. We need supporting documents for proof mother's name different due to change name or both ID copy of your mother.

Please submit the required supporting documents to:

Why do they make this so difficult, and how do I reason with them after I have already sent in birth certificates and tax returns? Definitely not enjoying Skypass at the moment!


EDIT: Finally was able to get it done after 5 phone calls, 6 emails, and 3 faxes. Then to my surprise, booking a partner award ticket was a breeze!

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with family registration.

In my case, I sent the birth certificate of my daughter and that was enough.

You might want to ask them why the birth certifiacate (it should be official birth certificate from the state, not hospital) is not an acceptable document.
