Hello, would like to upgrade the family on a flight from BRU to MIA at the end of March 2012......unfortuntely there are no Award bookings anywhere near my request. However, I notice there are plenty of tickets for purchase in Biz class available. Question: What is the probability that Swiss would upgrade us using our M&M points at the counter?? Is there a calculation Swiss uses for counter award upgrades if the Biz Class is not full on departure?? Thanks for any info!!

You can upg with miles if there is still availability during check-in / or even at the gate (but they will have to check if they have enough meals sometimes) - amount of miles will be according to the offical upg chart.
