I guess the corp. must be pretty happy with the online booking stat.'s, judging by this press release:

Note these two items from the release -
"The benefits of booking online reservations via the Hilton Family websites include ... reservations on the brand sites with no booking fees; earning of Points & Miles(R) and special recognition for HHonors members..."
and
"Throughout the coming months, we will be working diligently to ensure that all guests realize there's no reason to book anywhere else"
Is that we'll realize there's no place else to book because of on-line incentives and promotions, or by way of punitive measures designed to force people to use the websites? Time will tell - and no doubt it will be thoroughly analyzed and discussed here.

Wonder how they count it? I have rebooked every reservation but one I've had with them in the last three months at least once as the rates have been dropping pretty dramaticailly in some cases. Does that count as more then one booking?
If it does (though probably not because in most cases it's a change to the same reservation) then the numbers are way inflated.
We're talking a hotel that says I have 391 nights with them so far this year, any numbers coming from them are suspect at best.
