Asiana Club - help - US codeshare OZ operated flights do not have OZ PNR

So I bought a ticket marketed by US Airways operated by Asiana (ICN-SFO), it generated a US PNR that shows the status to be active, and in the GDS system (viewtrip.com) as confirmed.
Further, an eticket was issued using USairways code.
24 hours later, I called OZ trying to pick a seat, and was told that my name is not on the passenger list. In addition, I case US reservations, and they have no idea where there is no OZ PNR.
Is this normal? Will I go to the airport without being able to get on the flight?
US has been codsharing with OZ for three years - anyone had similar experience?

Give the ticket number to OZ. If you don't have a ticket number, or OZ thinks that the ticket number doesn't exist, you have a problem.

OZ phone agent was able to pull the ticket number (using USAir code) it out and confirmed that they could see the reservation - is that good enough to get on the flight at the airport?

Hmm. That's weird. Really weird.
You can ask the OZ agent to contact US and request that the ticket be reissued using the OZ flight number. That will definitely work, but no guarantees that OZ/US will do it. There is a good chance that there is no problem, but this is an unusual case that I've never seen before, and it's very possible that the ticket hasn't been pushed to OZ for some reason, which can create serious headaches at checkin.
If nothing can be done, just show up at the airport with the ticket number. Assuming that the flight isn't overbooked, the agents should be able to deal with it there.

alright, will do.
And will keep you updated -the flight is end of this month.

This happened to me on an award ticket issued by US with OZ segments. OZ could pull the ticket number from GDS, but could not find it in its own system. The reason was either GDS didn't push the reservation/ticket number correctly to OZ or OZ didn't receive it correctly. Neither airline could fix the original booking, so US Air just cancelled the reservation and booked a new one. It worked fine the second time.

so were you able to get an OZ PNR as soon as US booking went through?

Yes, US gave me the OZ PNR and told me it was confirmed. But OZ could not locate the reservation, PNR not existing and passenger name not on the list.
I had such experiences with UA(016) and US(037) tickets involving CA, SQ and OZ. UA and US called partner airlines, reissued tickets on the original PNR, still not working. In the end they had to create a new reservation from scratch.

So I went to PVG without an OZ PNR for ICN-SFO leg (since it is US Codeshare), and checkin agent was able to pull out two etickets and check me in all the way through to SFO.
One the US codeshare, it reads "sold as US XXXX", and the luggage information did not show up on the boarding passes since it was two etickets.
So all good. US has been codesharing with OZ for three years, but do not expect an OZ PNR when you buy the ticket.
