I booked a room at an antipodean Hilton a few weeks back. Checking in the next day, I was a bit surprised to see that the rate I was signing for was 105 (or so) currency units instead of the 165 that is still showing on my confirmation e-mail. I didn't question it but it was still the lower rate when I checked out (so I didn't quibble about the $10 charge for a 5 minute call to a cellular number).
