National - Wht no EC Discount?

I have a reservation for MCO at the end of the month. My original rate was $45/day, with the usual 15% EC discount and a free day, dropping it more. I went to see if the rates dropped and they did, now they are $29/day and I get a free day, but no more 15% EC discount. Why would it have allowed it on the original reservation, but not on this one? I have always gotten both in the past.

I've had the same thing happen at YYZ. I got a base rate of $22.49/day for 3 days and using the free weekend day coupon, so the rate is decent, but there's no discount at all. I've known franchise locations to not give the EC discount, but never at a corporate store. Also when I do manage to get the discount it now seems to be 10% rather than the usual 15%...

Agreed fewer and fewer seem to give the discount and the ones who do it is 10%

I think the EC discount is off of a "standard" rate -- whereas if there's an already discounted rate (like weekend or last-minute) available, the website will give you that, but no EC discount.
