CommunityBuzz! - April 12-15--NOLA--anyone there for French Quarter Fest

Hi. Mr Silver Springer and I will be at French Quarter Fest this year in New Orleans. If any other FTers are there we could get together for dinner or drinks. If interested, let me know.

We might be there.... if the fares would dip a little.

2012 is the year we are loyal to ourselves....While in other years I would take United Airlines, looking for the connections with the cheapest fares...This year we bought cheap non-stops on Southwest from BWI-MSY that maximized our time in NOLA while minimizing the cost. We were last at French Quarter Fest 4 years ago and really wanted to attend this year.

Boy I miss New Orleans, been too long since I've visited. Just can't make these dates. HAVE FUN (like I even need to state that)

I will be there early Saturday Morning and leaving on Tuesday, April 17, 2012. My first time for New Orleans so I figured I have 2 days for the Festival and 2 days for Sightseeing.


I would love to get together with FT ers for dinner and drinks.

I've blocked that window of time out so that I can stay HOME in NOLA.

Still a relatively new transplant coming up on 3 years here but would be very happy to meet some FT'ers and provide what assistance I can.

For what it's worth, you can stream some of the local bands on Pandora. I'd suggest Rebirth Brass Band as a station.

I'm flying into MSY the morning of the 15 (getting on a cruise on the 16th).

Would be interested in a meet up.
