Orlando - Parking available at Disney Coronado Spring Resort?

Dear all,
I will be attending a conference at Disney Coronado Spring Resort in early Feb for 4 days. The conference rate of the hotel is a bit high, and there are no rooms available now. Therefore I am planning on staying somewhere else, and drive to the conference hotel every day for 3 days.

As I checked the transportation of Disney Coronado Spring Resort, it did not say much about parking. My questions are...
1. Are there any parking facility available in that hotel?
2. Do I need to pay for parking? The Disney website said daily parking fee is USD 15 for theme parks, does this apply to Disney hotels and resorts?
3. Any suggestions about where I should book the hotel? I am looking to get a hotel+car deal on expedia or similar.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

There is lots of parking at the Coronado Springs ( although there may be a few minutes walk to the conference centre

A map of the resort is here with the car park all around the outside of the buildings.

I think parking is free for guests at the resorts ( not sure about conference guests)

I would try disney.com to see if there are any offers ( the Walt Disney Swan and Dolphin are good hotels and are within relatively easy driving distance of Coronado springs ( also the hotels near downtown disney)

Regards

Thanks for the information.
Hopefully the traffic is not too busy along the road. I need to arrive on time in the morning every day.

Parking at all Disney hotels is free, even if you're not a guest. Valet is around $12 per day.

Once you're on Disney property you should not hit very much traffic. There are numerous hotels along Hotel Plaza Blvd, which is on Disney property, with hotels such as Hilton and Holiday Inn, that should put you close enough to Coronodo Springs, yet still on their property.

If you go off property, I don't suspect that there will be very much traffic except during rush hour along I-4. Early Feb is a pretty slow time at Disney. Your only traffic issue should be locals going to/from work.

There are tons of hotels everywhere, within a few minutes' drive. If you have a specific chain you patronize, just look there. Hilton, SPG, Choice, Carlson, Wyndham, whatever.

I assume if you are attending a conference at Coronado, parking is free. Call them.

Might be cheaper through Disney than through the conference to stay at a Disney hotel.

And if you know someone else going to the conference, it might work out to purchase one Annual Pass to the parks, which I think allows you to reserve 2 rooms for up to 45% off rack rate. That would give other discounts and free parking at the parks, saving $15 a day.

I long for the good old days when off-season got you 50% off when you had an annual pass.

Yes, looks a bit less now. www.mousesavers.com is showing 20-40% off:

But an Annual Passholder can book 3 rooms it says. Get together with your business colleagues.
