Hawaii-based Airlines - 7 people flying KOA-LIH

I'm booking seven flights from KOA - LIH on April 14th during a family vacation. I'm just shy of having enough people for a "group" discount. Any other tips on how to save a wee bit on my large purchase? And flying is the only way to do it, right? We can't charter a boat for $800?

ignore me.... I misread the number of people.

OP only has 7 person group, 2 shy of the 9 HA usually classifies as a group.

OP: Give HA group sales a call. The worst that happens is they say "no".
And unless you guys are hearty, salty sailors, I'm not sure you would enjoy the boat ride, even if inexpensive. Rough, and over 250 miles.
