In the fall, Mr. Kipper and Mr. Kipper-in-law were out in Wyoming on a hunting trip. I booked a few rooms for them, using points and such. I also booked one room in my father-in-law's name, but using my credit card to hold the room. Not a big deal, although when my father-in-law tried to pay, they insisted they had to use my credit card. Not a problem, they go on their way. I think nothing of it until this week, when I receive an email from a hotel in New Mexico, where Mr. Kipper-in-law stayed on a hunting trip earlier in January. It invited me to take a survey about the hotel.
No points have posted to my account for said stay, and I would guess they've posted to Mr. Kipper-in-law's account, as they should.
However, I'm concerned that somehow, in the confusion of the one stay in the fall, my email address somehow became associated with his account.
Has anyone experienced this before?
