Budget Travel - Have I done something stupid? - Ryanair
So, me and friends are going with FR to Dublin in Feb. 7 of us, all booked this afternoon.
Just had it pointed out to me that I have booked the girls in as Mrs XYZ. Really, they should be Miss XYZ, but FR only have Ms and Mrs.
Is this going to pose a problem with Ryanair? I have a boarding card from May 2011 with my name, but no title on it. Is it still like that?
Help!

Just get them a cheap ring to wear for the flight :D
Seriously, should not be a problem, even with FR.
Let's see what others think.

Just checked another BP from October, and it also has no title on it.

The title field in Ryanair's SkyPort DCS is only in place to determine M/F/C/I for weight and balance purposes.
Non-issue. Nobody will even notice.

Most language communities (at least in Europe) abolished the Mrs/Miss distinction a long time ago, and I'm surprised the English-language version of Ryanair.com still makes that distinction, rather than just offering the option of Mr and Ms like other versions of their web site.
So, like the others have said - as long as the gender is correct it doesn't matter whether the ticket says "Miss", "Mrs" of "Ms".
Thanks guys!
That's pretty much what I was thinking / wishing / hoping ^

Probably good friends to have when flying Ryanair given their usual approach to strict T&C enforcement.

Be careful, Ryanair might add a 5 gbp "Ring Check" fee.:)

Very true, but they are also good at making me unduly worried about anything I book for them.
But yes, good friends to have :)
