EL AL Matmid - 747-400 In seat power Economy class?

I was on the 747-400 on Saturday night from TLV-EWR and could not find the power socket for my seat in economy. The flight attendant said the plane did not have them.

The El Al website says this:
On the 777 and 747* aircraft, computer outlets are available in all Classes, providing a convenient and comfortable working environment.
In the premium Classes on the 777 and 747-400 aircraft the outlet can be found between the seats below the reading lamp.
In Economy Class the outlet is between the seats /at the foot of the seats.

And of course I have no idea how old that web page is on the EL AL site. Previous postings mentioned that adding the power sockets in economy would be done on all 747-400's by 2009.

So is the socket just very very hard to find, or do some of the 747-400's not have power sockets in economy?

I don't think they have it.

So I see that I was on 4X-ELE on Sunday's flight which according to the website does not have the power sockets, and today I will be on 4X-ELB which is supposed to have the power sockets in Y. So I will know tonight if this 747-400 does have power sockets in Y. (Unless I get the upgrade to C)

The 4X-ELB plane does have power sockets between every two economy seats, so there are two sockets for the 3 seats on the window side, and I think three sockets for the 4 seats in the middle.

Interestingly, the plane 4X-ELB which does have the power sockets has no Video On Demand on the personal TV screens, (even in business class), it just has the 6 or 7 channels with movies running in a loop.

But the 4X-ELE plane does have a very basic Video On Demand system, but it has no power sockets in economy.

Which planes have power? Which planes have which IFE?!
