What is the procedure for non-schengen to schengen transfers at ZRH? In this case I will be connecting from BKK to MUC (arriving F, departing Y). Will my bags be sent straight through or is there another procedure? I assume that I clear immigration in ZRH.

My very limited but recent experience (HKG-ZRH-VIE) was that they stamped my passport in Zurich while my bags went straight through to Vienna. Immigration in Zurich was extremely fast, & customs in Vienna was relaxed, to say the least.

You'l get exactly what taipeipeter describes. Schengen immigration and security re-screening in ZRH, bags straight through to MUC.

Yes, I did exactly this HKG-ZRH-CDG.

Not strictly on topic but a LX F-Y connection may yet get you FCL on arrival. I had the pleasure of being driven from the lounge to the plane on a recent all LX F to (Euro) Y connection :)
