Germany - Best ice cream in Munich?

My husband loves ice cream and we always search out ice cream locations in every city we travel to. Can anyone recommend an ice cream shop in Munich?

one more came to my mind. http://www.daseismeer.de is nice as well in Pestalozzistraße. They might be open as it is a regular cafe as well.

I tried the ice-cream inside Galeria Kauhof (the one at Marienplatz), and it was good. We were there in December so I'm sure it's open.

I recommend ordering an Eisschokolade at the cafe that has the outdoor tables with umbrellas in Marienplatz. Nothing like an Eisschokolade (ice cream IN chocolate milk) while watching the Glockenspiel!
