Other Car Rental Programs (ie. Alamo, Enterprise) - Alamo Premium Car Selection

I was able to get a fairly good deal on reserving a Alamo premium class car out of SFO in May.

I was wondering, does anyone know what cars are offered in this class? I saw online it said Buick Regal or similar, so I am wondering what the similar would be?

Also, this will be my first time renting a car, so I was wondering are you usually
assigned a specific car, or can you pick out your own?

Premium car selection at Alamo is fairly similar to National as they share a fleet except that national may have a few more options. At Alamo/National you are able to pick your own.

Typically:
Nissan Maxima, Hyundai Genesis, VW CC, 2010 Chrysler 300, Honda Accord, Buick Regal CXL, Buick Lacrosse, Buick Lucerne,
Sometimes Toyota Avalon or even a leather interior Dodge Charger.

You might also see some leather seated Ford Crown Victorias or Mercury Grand Marquis.

Has anyone seen the Volkswagen CC at LAX ?

It doesnt cost that much more from Fullsize to Premium and I would love to have that one for the week (I'm aware that experience doesn't guarantee anything).

I was at LAX thursday and I saw 2dr Infinity and 4dr Genesis on the line. I coud be wrong about the class though since everything was mixed up.

FYI, LAX had a TON of jeeps, malibus and impalas.

I've had a lucerne and in September last year I got a brand new Taurus which was very nice .

Well Infinity is ok but Malibu & Impala... That's max Fullsize to me and not Premium. :o
