Just started researching a trip to Berlin and stumbled upon info that the Berlin Leather Fetish Week coincides with Easter.
Has any FT'ers been to this festival? any tips?
I'm not a big partier and wouldn't have planned to be there specifically for this festival but I wanted to take advantage of 4 day weekend over Easter and don't mind some exposure to the famous German leather/fetish scene.

I've never been, but I'll be there this year.
Starting my trip in Istanbul the weekend before and then meandering my way up to Berlin through Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary.
A friend of mine has been several times and says it's a ton of fun!

Berlin at Easter is a huge deal because of the BLF events, possibly bigger even than Folsom Europe. It might be difficult now to find lodging anywhere near the Schoeneberg area, but see what you can get, because that's where most of the activity will be centered. (I booked my hotel room in October, and that was after exhausting the B&B possibilities.) Bring your best gear and as much of it as you can pack, because there will be ample opportunities to show it off. The bar scene will be lively, and there are several to choose from in Schoeneberg. There will be at least one dance, but skip it. Saturday (and maybe Friday) at Lab.Oratory should be jammed packed. Also the FickstutenMarkt will be happening. (Don't ask here. Just Google it.)
