Other Car Rental Programs (ie. Alamo, Enterprise) - Almo rental from UK site for non UK residents

Did anyone rent from the Alamo UK site while not being a UK resident?

The rate on the UK site is significantly lower and the terms & condition have nothing about a UK residence restriction.

However, as I never tried this before was hoping to know if anyone was successful.
