Hilton HHonors - Homewood suites at Warwick, RI (pvd)

Has anyone stayed at this property and if so how was your stay?

I stayed there last week. It seemed like a standard Homewood Suites. I thought it was just fine for my needs (I arrived late at PVD and needed someplace nearby before heading into Newport in the morning).

The following may be issues, depending on your circumstances: It is a bit difficult to find without directions (although that seems true of many Homewoods), there wasn't any shuttle from the airport (no issue for me since I rented a car) and there are no nearby restaurants (you have to go back the two miles to the airport).

We just got back from the Homewood Suites in Warwick. I thought it was very nice, looked almost brand new. I'm not sure when it opened.
The decor and furnishings were very pleasant and bright with a nice fireplace in the livingroom. The pool was not very big but the hot tub was a good size. We were about the only ones using the facilities so it was fine for us. Nice fitness room also but small. A tennis/basketball court outside with patio tables and a BBQ grill and gazebo nearby.
Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own belgian waffles(yum) cold cereals, bagels and toast, coffee and juice. Only thing missing was fresh fruit. A very pleasant stay at a good rate.
