Hilton HHonors - Upgraded to Diamond VIP for no apparent reason!

How lucky is that.. got the card in the mail and a nice letter. I'm gold and just merged accts w/spouse but he was silver. maybe gold + silver makes diamond? No complaints here! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

What is your status on the website?

my status on the web is also Diamond VIP.. my exp on the card is 12/31/03.. i have an April 04 ALON stay at the HHV. Be nice to be Diamond at that time.. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

It sounds like one of you may have gotten the targeted e-mail.

Now earn HHonors VIP status on the "Fast Track"! Have a total of 10 stays or 20 nights between March 15 and June 14, 2003, and you'll be automatically upgraded to HHonors Diamond VIP membership - a status that normally requires 28 stays per calendar year.

When you combined accounts it counted both of your stays. Do you know if the 2 of you've staysed 10 times in the past 90 days?

we had a TEEN award stay in April at the Tapatio in PHX and 1 stay in Elkhart IN in May together. That was it for 2003 so far. maybe it was an error but I'll gracefully accept it. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
