Interesting thing this morning... I was just checking my account online and I notice the "Current reservations" page. Yes, one was for my next stay in San Francisco but the next one for next week at the Homewood Suites in Dallas.... is strange. I was not going to anywhere near Dallas. So I click on the reservation...
Funny... it was my account, with my information, but it was not in my name. Whoever booked my reservation too, was using a last name similar as mine but for someone else not related to me. And it was for a COUPLE of free rooms.
I'm just on the phone with HHonors right now and they are effectively going to close my account and open a new one while transferring all relevant information over. Apparently this is the first time they have ever encountered this problem.
But I dunno... they will certainly question the individual when that person shows up at the Homewood Suites in Dallas on the 6th about this particular reservation. According to HHonors, this is a crime and I supposed they will refer to the appropriate departments.
Oh well, one more stay for me before I hit Diamond.
