Hilton HHonors - Retroactive promotion sign-up: is it allowed?

I did 2 HHonors stays in May, but didn't sign up for anything like NWPE because I didn't realize that I was actually being dropped to Silver, having completed a Fast Track to Gold in 2002. I have now come to grips with my Silverness, but would probably like to get back to Gold if possible.

Question is: can I call up today and get them to count my 2 May stays as part of a 4-stay Fast Track? I can easily generate two June stays to complete the run. Or will I need to bite the bullet and do four if I want Gold?

If those two stays have already posted, I believe you're out-of-luck on that score.

HHonors promos go by posting date [it seems],so if you have an outstanding stay credit it'd behoove you to wait to request retoactive posting though. At least that has been my experience.

In the past, the 4-stay 90 day fast track promos have sometimes counted retroactively. Policy says they don't, and customer service will say they can't, but the computer may work differently.

Two years ago, I signed up for EWRDC in Mid-June, and got both the credit and the bonus for a stay I'd done in early May. And I still got the 90 days going forward, so my 4 stays were actually spread over a 4 month period.
