Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Extended Search?

I've noticed that the travel websites (eg Kayak, ITA) take a few seconds to come up with possible routes/fares. Let's say I want to run my computer overnight to analyze all of the possibilities, which should give a much better result. Unfortunately I do not have access to the data; is there any way to do this?

Or would one of these monitoring websites be the closest feasible equivalent to this? I don't know that there is a website that allows you to set how long you want to search since it seems the computation has to be done on the server side.

I'm am not a computer person... but I suspect the problem is not the time YOUR computer would be tied up by such a search... but how (unnaceptably) high the load would be on the website you were using...

Right, this is what I mean by the server side. It would be nice if the data were available so that I could analyze it on my computer. Eg, if I was only interested in particular routes or had a preference for a certain airline, etc, I could brute force search those instead of having it use its algorithms.
