I signed up for the hilton amex, and paid the first bill. I was credited points for my purchases but didn't receive my 7500 bonus points. I have emailed Adam, as well as the Hilton Hhonors Customer Service. They said they will remedy this asap. This was 2 days ago, and I have yet to hear back. Considering the award level goes up May 31st, I wonder if that is why they are withholding it. Can anyone help me???

The culprit here is AmEx, not HH. Unfortunately, AmEx customer service deteriorated tremendously in the last few years, and you need to go through numerous hoops to get to a rep (or a supervisor) who is knowledgeable enough to help you. I have no doubt that you will get your points eventually. Unfortunately, Amex typically posts points (even those from their prior "debts") once a month after the billing cycle ends. That means that "regular" remedy may not help you to get points before the deadline.
My advice would be to call HH again and plead for compassion and understanding, and ask them to find a creative way to remedy the problem, even if it was not caused by them. They might allow you to go 7,500 points negative until your points arrive. If you get an unhelpful CSR, do not argue with him/her, politely end the conversation and call again. You may have to ask for an AmEx liaison at HH to help you out.
