Florida - Airport car service from MIA to South Beach -- recommendations?

Any recommendations for Town Car service from MIA to South Beach? Apparently a cab is about $45, but I called two limo companies and they quoted $250!! Am I just crazy, or does anyone have a more reasonably-priced service that they use?

I'm obviously asking to see if anyone has a particular recommendation before I call the thousand limousine companies in the Miami-Dade area.

depending where you are going and how many bags you have , I just used the Hotel Express Bus $2.35 each way it took 1/2 hr from MIA to Collins and 24th . I was staying @ The W on 22nd and all I had was my carry-on roller board , but I saw numerous people get on with their carry-on and what had to be a checked bag due to its size.

Went back tio MIA the same way
