Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - MS: bottle of duty free vodka from EU via CAI to KUL?

Has anyone recently tried to take a bottle of duty free booze from EU via CAI to KUL (Muslim country, but allows for import of 1L of alcohol, anyway) or elsewhere.

I have a new client in Malaysia that has 'cheapest-of-the-day' Travel Policy, so I will probable have to take MS flights via CAI (they offer ridiculously low J-class fares).

Thanks a lot - I forgot that it is MS that is a dry airline while Egypt is (still) not dry...

If one of the security guys at CAI tries it on (very unlikely, but it happens) stand your ground: polite but firm.
