I thought I'd start a thread to discuss ZK, their alliances, issues and other "stuff" for those who fly them because of necessity, choice or for fun (???).
Here's a link to start some discussion on their performance:
http://www.flightstats.com/go/FlightRating/flightRatingByCarrier.do?airlineCode=ZK
I believe their code share agreements currently are with UA and F9 for many routes, primarilary those that transit DEN. ZK itself does not have FF program for those non-code share routes, at least that I am aware of.
I see that they are moving back to having a small base in MSP, serving Devils Lake to start, taking over for DL who announced their pullout of some EAS cities served from MSP.
I believe their fleet is entirely Beech 1900D, with some 30 seat Brazillia's flying to the oil fields of the Dakotas and Wyoming. I see they also serve one ski town in CO (TEX). A rather short runway in a box canyon I have been told and basically no one else can fly in there with larger passenger aircraft.
Anyone else have information on ZK?
