why does KL get into Israel @ 2:30 in the middle of the night?

KL isnt the only ones that do this LO,A3,LH,OS,OZ,OK,LX,AF, among others (a couple have more then 1 flight a day so ist not as bad)
I could think of a few reasons: 1) that way their plane can turn around and get back home early morn = Biz people have a full day ahead of them, a person can make most every onward connection
2) can use the same crew to fly in & out = dont have to put them up over night in TLV
3) instead of the plane sitting around and sleeping it can be used. TLV is probably the longest Intra Europe flight. better utilization of its aircraft
4) I believe some Airlines went to this when the suicide bombings were happening like crazy and they didnt want their crews overnighting in Is , and it worked out $$ for them some never changed back

KLM crew don't fly in and out, they stay the night in TLV.
Anyway what difference would it make which time of the day/night the flight operates for the crew to turn straight back, if something it's the opposite. BA (used to at least 10 years ago) have the crea of the day flight, fly straight back, while the crew of the night fly have a 24 hour break.

Problem is most of Europe is apx a 4 hr flight so no sens ein aflight laeving TLV at say 10pm to arrive at 2 am Also with the crews if the plane doesnt turnright around could be they wont beable to fly back legally. But mots European carriers use narrow bodys into TLV so instead of simply having the plane sleep at home they can send it to TLV which they cant do with most other Citys
