Mexico - URGENT: passport question for Mexico from Canada

Hello there - we will be travelling to Mexico from Canada.

My passport expires in 4.5 months.

Will the chartered airline refuse to board me?

We are only staying for ONE week. Also when we booked the agent only confirmed that we had a valid passport that wasnt expiring during our stay. (confirmed by asking us.) The agent never mentioned of a 6 month validity requirement.

Can anyone please help? I am sincerely panicking here that I might lose my very very expensive vacation.

- Passport and/or passport replacing documents must be valid
on arrival."

Your passports need to be valid only for the length of your stay.

The condition of your passport is also important. It has to be totally undamaged (no water damage, tears, etc.)
