Other European Frequent Flyer Programs - TAP Air Portugal Victoria - Gold Winner

I just realised that I have flown so much with TP in 2011 that I have just received notification that I am now a 'Gold Winner'.

I looked at the TAP website and it mentions upgrades available to Gold status flyers but gives no further information.

What can I expect as one of TAP's most valued customers..?

Are you flying certain routes very often...
TAP GOLD has one huge advantage, 48hours before departure your ticket has to be issued.

So far as I know no other airline is offering this.

Some of us are indeed, but not all.
One of my best friend is travelling every 10 days to Sao Paulo (we-su), is not interested in upgrades the 1st place, he prefers his trips booked in advance.
When he is travelling his Gold status is taking care of the rest.

If flights are full or even oversold, upgraded to C-class.
