I am facing the same dilemma as one of the previous post. If the goal is to reach *G as soon as possible, and to maintain it faily easily, shall I choose OZ or A3?
It seems a non brainer that it is faster to reach *G through A3. However the problem is the cost. I fly mostly in the US, and for many UA/CO economy classes, A3 will only accumulate 50%, which is really bad... For OZ, I can accumulate 100% no matter what class I fly.
And in terms of redeeming for flights, I do not see OZ is worse than A3. Plus A3 has lots of restrictions such as stop over and schedule change... Please correct me if I am wrong.
The last point, some one mentioned that A3 *G is valid for 3 years and does not need lots of flying to maintain... Is this true? Can someone clarify?
