WestJet Rewards - Air Miles Question - Air Canada Online Availability

I've made several domestic flight bookings over the past few months for personal travel. I've accumulated a small number of Air Miles that I'd like to redeem to save a bit of money on my upcoming bookings. I'd prefer to fly Air Canada (in hopes of being offered a LMU at check-in), but only WS options ever appear. According to flightstats.com, "S" space is available on the dates I'm looking for (the booking class AC uses for AM redemptions).
I've tried multiple alternate dates and destinations, but AC flights never seem to appear. I've never redeemed AM for flights before, so have a few questions.
Is it likely that AC inventory would show up if I called in?
Unlike Aeroplan, will AM waive any booking fee if the options were not available on their website?
Any other suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks
The last time I called Air Miles about flight options not appearing on their website, the agent told me what I see is what she sees. But it can't hurt to call if you can stand the wait on hold being told how important you are LOL.

I think that the agents might have more availability than on the website.
And, no.
I have the same problem with getting AA flights so I can use EVIP's.
What I did to get so many AM's was at Safeway buy all the fee free $50 Visa GC's and I used a 10x AM coupon.
They also don't seem to allow YVR-JFK-YYZ to YYZ, but YYZ-JFK-YVR is allowed on the return....
(JFK-YYZ v.v is AA, YVR-JFK v.v is CX on an AA codeshare.)
(Edit: I solved this. I could go YVR-LAX-YYZ.)
And on my itinerary, they insist on charging US taxes, even though I showed them the rules that free tickets are not subject to US, XF, ZP, but subject to YC, and even showing prior AAdvantage reservations.)
Now if anyone has CX SWU's so if I travel to Asia I'm not stuck in the back.... I'll give a good offer.
I think AM flight redemption was designed for kettles (No J/F, no good airlines such as JL, SQ, agents don't really know what they are doing sometimes, no departure options from SEA to minimize taxes.)
Moderator: the thread title "Air Miles Question - Air Canada Online Availability" seems to suggest that this entire thread needs to be moved over to the Air Canada side. Please do at your earliest convenience. Thanks!

While it is true that I was trying to book AC, this question could be valid about any of AM's non-WS airlines partners. As such, the question is an AM question, not an AC question.
Sorry if you don't like that I posted my question here, I'm just following the guidelines that people on FT have been following for years. IIRC at the time the Porter thread was moved out of the AC forum there was some house cleaning done and one of the things was that AM questions would remain in the WS forum (as Air Miles was previously WS' FFP). I can't find that specific post/thread, but I did find this previous post from this forum's moderator. IMHO the entirety of his post is applicable to your request.
Lacking a better place, Westjet has been the unofficial Airmiles forum, and has been for quite some time. I think there room here for both.
Rather than rehashing Airmiles moderation for the one or two posts a quarter, can you help the OP with his dilemma?
If it is determined that AM posts should be kept elsewhere on FT, I'd be fine with that. Until then, I'm going to play by the "rules."

Is that a bad thing?
