How are points calculated?
Why does the web page say 'estimated'?
What is the difference between total points and qualifying points?

SO michael can you answer my post below about a list and a+ points my 50th flight is fri morning but i have the return on friday afternoon.. will i get regular a list points on the fri morn flight and a+ points on the afternoon flight or do i have to wait till next year to get a+ points

Still confused. Clearly bonus points are not applied to tier progress. I seem to have been docked 1000 or so. I made A+, but only by a razor thin 76 miles, when I thought I was 1000 or more over. Is there a way to get the report on the web page separated? 'Total Points year to date' and maybe 'Tier qualifying points year to date'?

Are you looking at your "Points Activity Detail (http://www.southwest.com/account/rapidrewards/points-activity?)" with the "Current Year to Date" "View" and filtered by either "Total Points", "Tier Qualifying Points", or "Companion Pass Qualifying Points" "Type" and hitting "Update" and failing to see some of your earned points?

I don't think pre-transition to RR2.0 show in the detail though.

Thanks. I figured it out. My math was bad. It is good I didn't rely on the Avis points. Those don't appear to count toward the tiers. I'm better off send those points to Star Alliance.

I believe rental car partner base points are WN base points & CPQPs but not TQPs and rental car partner bonus points are only WN base points (but neither TQPs nor CPQPs).
