Qatar Airways Privilege Club - Transfer time at Doha

I am flying IAD-DXB (economy class)in a few weeks. I have only a 40 minute(!!!) transfer time in Doha. My brother, who lives in Dubai, told me that the flights usually arrive early in Doha and this would be enough time. I went ahead and booked that flight, but have been worrying a bit ever since. Is this really enough time? And if I miss the connection, is it pretty easy to get on the next flight to Dubai?

PS - I have never flown on QA - I've heard good things about them, though. One thing I haven't been able to find out is if there are electrical outlets in economy for charging iphone, etc. Are there?

Both your flights are on QR in one PNR?

I never really noticed how early or late since my connections are usually 2.5 hours or longer


USB charger and sockets are available on the 77W and 77L.
So on QR52 IAD - DOH, you'll be able to charge your devices.
On QR118, its an A320 IIRC theres no USB slots. Anyways its a short flight

You should be safe on QR118 seeing that its on the same PNR. Otherwise, theres QR114 at 2030 (90 mins later), or QR 142 at 2359

As long as I can charge my devices on the long flight, I'll be OK. :)

If it makes you feel better, QR52 can be up to an hour early. Except on Christmas it was only 4 mins early.
