On our flight CPT to LHR on 24th December the crew were excited to find new mattresses' in the lockers as well as duvets. They certainly made things more comfortable.
As an aside the flight only had 50 passengers onboard and only 6 in C class which apart from the two of us were all crew relations including the Captains wife. As a treat he flew us low over table mountain and skimmed the cable car station; quite spectacular. Crew were very very average and probably the least attentive I have ever had on SAA. No effort was made to make things a bit "Christmassy"
