This seems strange but, why is my return flight from ICN to SEA 2.5 hours shorter than my original flight from SEA to ICN? The first one was 12 hours, and going back to SEA is 9 hours 40 min.. what would be the cause of that?

is it expected taxi time on a busy runway? isn't that too big a difference for that? (and no this isn't a time-difference issue, i double checked.. its actual flight duration :S)

Take a look at other transpacific, transatlantic, or US transcon schedules. Eastbound trips always move faster thanks to jet stream tailwinds. Fact of global meteorological life.
