Over the past few months SAA has upgraded their menu on longhaul flights, and on a trip on Sunday to Munich I must say the food was amazing.
However what is also new are "pillow tops" they unroll onto each seat like a mattress.... it was so comfortable and it means you no longer need to run onto the plane to steal and hide an extra duvet ;)
Three downsides thought: a) they take up a lot of overhead locker space b) they a tad short and c) the crew tell me its only on trial only for a short while.
