Club Carlson - Pay with points upgrade with cash?

Is this possible with Club Carlson? Looking at staying in London at one of the Park Plazas. I see suites that will accommodate families selling for about 50 GBP more than standard rooms. But I can only book standard rooms with points. Wondering if it's possible to book with points and pay the diff to upgrade? FWIW I have CC gold status
